“Without music life would be a mistake.” ~Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

Hey, and welcome to FrostFire Audio. I’m Luke Dutschke, but in music forums and the like I usually go by the name Lo0pyLuke.

I started writing music at about the age of 9 on a Windows 3.11 computer. At the time it was one of the most enjoyable things for me to do, although the actual music didn’t sound so great! As of this year I’ve been writing for 8 years now, and have helped on a few projects which sadly, never saw it past the work-in-progress stage.

A few years ago I discovered FL Studio, and have been writing with it since version 6. My music is mainly of the orchestral and electronic genres, influenced by years of videogame and film music which interested me more so than any pop or rock. I tend to write with an interest in natural sounds, and blend this with electronic and synthesized instruments. Melodies and the intricate fabric of harmonies are what I enjoy the most about the music I make and listen to.

Apart from composing music, I’ve been playing the flute for 7 years now, and really enjoy it. Thanks to all my teachers, I’ve come a long way from the tone-deaf child I once was to someone who can appreciate music on many different levels.

If you’d like to contact me about projects or pretty much anything, feel free to drop me a line at luke@frostfireaudio.com
